A Portfolio That Feels Like an Operating System
Most portfolio websites follow the same structure: a grid of projects, a simple about page, and a contact button. But Letizia’s work is expressive, personal, and playful. A traditional layout wouldn’t reflect that. Instead of designing another standard portfolio, the idea was to create an experience inspired by something everyone already understands: the desktop of a computer. Visitors land in an environment that feels like a workspace. Files, folders, widgets, and icons become the navigation system. Projects open like windows, making the portfolio feel interactive rather than static. The goal wasn’t just to show the work. It was to create a digital environment that reflects how creativity actually lives and moves.

Turning a Website Into an Experience
The final design blends familiar operating-system patterns with custom interaction design. Instead of scrolling through a traditional page structure, visitors explore the portfolio through a desktop-style interface: – Icons act as entry points to projects – Windows open to reveal artwork and content – Widgets add personality and context – A playful layout encourages discovery Because the interaction model is already familiar to users, the experience feels intuitive while still being unique. The result is a portfolio that doesn’t behave like a typical website. It feels like stepping into a creative workspace — making the work more memorable and engaging for anyone exploring it.
